The 7th Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Contest (Nami Contest) Nami Island Education and Culture Group

⦁ The Nami Concourse is held biennially by South Korea's Nami Island, the official sponsor of the Hans Christian Andersen Awards, to support creative activities of illustrators around the world and to contribute to improving the standard of picture illustration.

⦁ The 2026 Nami Concourse is based on digital entries.

⦁ The award-winning works of the 2026 Nami Concourse will be presented at the 2026 Nami World Book Country Festival and can be toured at home and abroad.

⦁ Winners of the 2026 Nami Concourse Grand Prix, Golden Island and Green Island will be provided with airfare and accommodation to attend the 2026 Nami Island World Book Country Festival, and if the winner is a Korean resident, round-trip airfare for the 2027 Bologna Children's Book Fair will be provided instead.

⦁ The preliminary screening passed works of the 2026 Nami Concourse are produced as digital and printed books, introduced to major events around the world, and promoted around the world.

World-renowned international judges decide final winners through in-depth discussions

7. Awards

• Grand Prix (1): US$10,000
• Golden Island (2): US$5,000
• Green Island (5): US$2,000
• Purple Island (10): Certificate and plaque

※  All preliminary screening passes will be displayed in the 2026 Nami World Book Country Festival Special Exhibition and included in the book

9. Precautions 

A. Award-winning works are promoted in various ways through domestic and international exhibitions, illustrations, videos, printouts, electronic media, posters, postcards, etc.

B. All preliminary screening passes will be included in the book, and the winning author will be given a copy of the book..
